CDM Digi Fab COMPETITION 2026
by CAINZ × KOKUYO × VUILD
― Furniture & Woodwork Design Competition —

Theme

“Living with Children”

Homework spread out in the living room, and piles of toys.
A child’s desire to “do it myself” and the adult’s honest wish for them to “tidy up.”
Ready-made furniture sometimes cannot fully bridge that “subtle gap.”

That is why we want to offer the option of “DIY furniture” that you assemble and finish with your own hands.

The digital woodworking machine “ShopBot” is a powerful partner that supports this vision. You assemble puzzle-like parts cut from plywood with your own hands, making them a natural part of your daily life.

We are looking for new forms of furniture that truly fit today’s families.
What we are creating is not just a tool.
It is a scene of daily life where children and adults can laugh and grow together in the same space.
Your idea will become the “everyday life” of someone’s home. Why not carve out such a future together?
